Composer walking out of a wall of digital chaos - emails, tasks, notifications - into a sunlit landscape. ComposerOS course key art.

ComposerOS · Early Access

Compose more. Busywork less.

Composers spend half their week on sample tagging, cold-email drafts, and wrestling with tools - even when all they want is a plugin that does one specific thing. ComposerOS is a course on training an AI assistant to handle all of it for you, so the time you save goes back into writing the music.

10+ Lessons live now. New modules drop continuously while ComposerOS is in early access.

Why all this.

You're not behind on talent. You're behind on tools.

This isn't about AI writing your music. ComposerOS doesn't teach you to generate scores from a prompt or to outsource your creativity. The music stays yours. Everything around it changes.

Sample libraries that take twenty minutes to find one kick. Cold-email outreach that loops back to drafts you never finish. Building a web presence that eats weeks. Tagging files. Renaming exports. Answering inquiries. The list is endless - and every hour of it is an hour you're not writing music.

The composers who already use coding agents are shipping more, faster. Not because they're more talented - because they're spending less of their week on admin and more of it composing. The gap with composers who don't is widening every month.

ComposerOS hands the office and production layers to an agent that knows how you work. You stay the artist. The agent does the rest.

What you'll actually do.

Foundation

Set up Claude correctly

Install Claude Code from scratch, write your first CLAUDE.md so the agent understands your studio, build your own custom skills with the skill-creator skill, and run Claude inside Antigravity (the IDE we use - VSCode coming). The base layer everything else is built on.

Scenario 01

Sample-library inventory

Stop clicking through 4,000 files looking for one kick. Tag and catalog your sample library so you can ask Claude "find me a 90 BPM dark cinematic kick" and have it surface in seconds. Works with any library you own.

Scenario 02

Personalized cold-email pipeline

End cold-email procrastination. Find target companies - publishers, music supervisors, agencies - have Claude draft personalized outreach, and stage them as Gmail drafts ready for you to review and send. Send in an hour what used to take a week.

Scenario 03

Composer landing page in 1h15

A live page on a real domain in 75 minutes instead of weeks of fiddling. Ship a studio, demo, or artist landing page from scratch with zero hosting cost and zero setup cost. By the end of the module: something to point clients at.

Next module · Locked

Build your own VST plugin

Inside this module, you'll ship a custom audio plugin you can load into Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, or any DAW that hosts VSTs. No C++ background required - Claude scaffolds the plugin code while you decide what it does (a saturator, a mid/side processor, a tempo-locked tremolo, your call). By the end of the module: a working .vst3 file you can drop into your sessions today.

Founding members get it the moment it goes live. Anyone joining after early access ends gets it included too - this isn't an upsell, it's the next module in the course.

An honest note about early access.

ComposerOS is shipping in early access. The Foundation and the three hands-on scenarios are live in the course today; the VST plugin module drops within 72 hours. New scenarios drop over time as I build them in my own studio and turn them into modules.

Founding members get every future module included - no upgrade pricing, no "premium tier." The price moves up as the course expands. Right now, $97 is the floor.

Alex Pfeffer - composer behind Two Steps From Hell, Crysis 2, and trailers for Pacific Rim and Harry Potter

Who's teaching

Alex Pfeffer

I've spent 20+ years writing trailer music and game scores - contributing to trailers for Pacific Rim and Harry Potter, 60+ TV shows, and games like Crysis 2 and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. I've worked with Two Steps From Hell and collaborated with Mick Gordon. ComposerOS is everything I'd want a younger version of me to know about using AI agents to compose more and admin less.
